Frankly, as someone who never studied Canadian history (other than the facts spewed by TF regarding the validity of the metric system and the invention of the zipper) I agree with DES' observation. If I had to study my US history from a textbook titled "Canada Today," I would definitely consider misleading names for other items. Moreover, I would start with my fridge
